Contrary to what many people believe, cats can be trained and they are actually very smart! Though they may be a little more stubborn and not as treat motivated as most dogs, they do like activity and stimulation.
Behavioral issues aren’t uncommon, but with patience and perseverance, behavior can be changed. Behavior issues that pop up suddenly could be an indication of discomfort or pain so please contact your vet for a wellness check. Animals can’t tell us what is wrong so they show us in ways that make us think they are being naughty, when in fact it’s a medical issue.
