Legacy of Love

Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way

Being part of our Legacy of Love will help ensure that CCHS will continue helping those who can not help themselves for many years to come. You will be part of a special group of donors who’ve included CCHS in their estate plans either through a will, trust, retirement or life insurance plan, or life income gift such as a charitable gift annuity. You will know you helped save lives.

Planned Giving

Planned giving is a unique charitable tool that allows you to support the CCHS’s live saving work for animals for many years to come while also fulfilling your own financial goals and objectives. Planned gifts include bequests made through your will, gifts that provide income to you and others for life, and gifts of life insurance, charitable lead trusts or retirement plans. These gifts can be made in cash, stocks, bonds, personal property, life insurance and real estate.

We encourage you to consult with your tax advisor, attorney or financial planner regarding such gifts. For more information about gifts to the Copper Country Humane Society please contact us at contactus@www.cchumanesociety.com.

Saving and Changing Lives

We have all heard the old saying: “it takes a village to raise a child.” Well it also takes a village to save animals. Our unwavering dedication to saving animals and continued community support is what keeps the Copper Country Humane Society (CCHS) going.

CCHS is a private non-profit (501c3) animal welfare organization. Animals come from three counties and are provided with a warm place to sleep, food in their bellies, and a safe haven for as long as care is needed. One hundred percent of the money needed for vet care, spay/neuter, and medical needs for the 900 animals CCHS cares for annually is raised through monthly fundraising events and private donations. Thank you to our wonderful donors, local businesses, supporters, and volunteers for all that you do. CCHS exists because we come together and make a difference for so many animals!
